Herbs de Provence is a traditional French mixture of dried herbs. Herbes de Provence is typically used to flavor grilled foods - fish, meat, and vegetables.
This savory blend can be used in almost any Mediterranean dish, soup, stew, marinades, vinaigrettes, vegetable dishes and roasted poultry. To get the most flavor, it is best to add to cooking at the start of cooking to allow mixture to complement one another.
To make a vinaigrette, combine herbs de Provence with oil and vinegar. Try adding herbs de Provence with oilive oil to potato wedges and baking it until it is lightly brown - approximately half an hour.
Ingredients: Thyme, lavender flowers, basil, marjoram, fennel seeds, and rosemary.
