"SFQ, “The Original San Francisco-Style Barbecue Sauce,” is a classic American barbecue sauce, lustily elevated with hints of chocolate, coffee, and oak-aged red wine vinegar. This unique, all-purpose condiment is rich and complex, with waves of spice and heat appearing and fading into a long, evenly balanced finish.

The sauce was created in 2009, after a spirited conversation about what could and should be in a "San Francisco-style" barbecue sauce. We decided it must include three of San Francisco's favorite things…the finest local chocolate, coffee, and red wine, in the form of oak-aged vinegar from the wine country."
