What is Aleppo pepper?
Aleppo, also known as the Halaby pepper, is commonly used in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. It's half as spicy as most chile flakes and delivers a perfectly balanced mix of heat and sweet, rich flavor. The heat builds slowly and increases when cooked.

Using Aleppo pepper at Home
They are used in many dishes to season meat, beans, soups, salads, kebabs, fish, and muhammara dip. Aleppo Pepper is great on grilled meats like chicken breast, steak, or chops, in chili, meatloaf, and sauces. Try mixing Aleppo Pepper with herbs for flavorful roast chicken, tasty pork chops, and robust salads. Aleppo Pepper also makes an attractive sprinkle for potato, chicken and tuna salad and deviled eggs too.
