Organic Harissa Seasoning
Harissa comes from the Arabic word "to break," which is likely from the process of mashing the chiles. It is a paste made of roasted peppers and spice and is used as a condiment as commonly as ketchup in the cafes and kitchens of North Africa. Organic Harrisa Seasoning is a starter set for making harissa at home, but also acts as great seasoning for grilling meat and vegetables. It can also be used to liven up soups, stews and couscous, or used as a rub for meats. To make harissa, soak 10 dried chili peppers in water for 30 minutes, then remove stems/ seeds and drain. Combine in a blender 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon harissa seasoning and 1 teaspoon salt. Blend together with peppers until smooth.

Unless otherwise indicated, products are sold by weight and not by volume.
Some products may appear "less full" due to a variety of factors such as the density of the spice, contents settling during shipment, etc.
Our inner safety seals are pressure sealed and it is normal when twisting off the cap that the seal may come off, come loose, and/or tear - so long as none of the contents spill out, the product is safe to consume.
