Bay leaves have been used as a seasoning since Ancient Greece.
These little Turkish bay leaves add a subtle and earthy flavor to any soup, stew or curry. The leaves are added during the cooking process and removed before the dish is served, they are not meant to be ingested.
Bay leaves are often an ingredient in Indian curries and rice dishes.
Use bay leaves by adding 1 leaf per 4 cups of broth or water in your next soup.
Since ancient times, True Bay Leaves have mainly come from Turkey and are considered the original bay laurel leaves in look and taste. True Bay Leaves are different from the California Bay Leaf.
Bay leaves are thought to boost immune systems and have anti-viral effects.
