Greek Style Shakshuka with Feta Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 oz of red onions, sliced
  • 1 oz of red bell pepper, sliced
  • 12 oz of diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • 1 tsp of ground cumin
  • 1 tsp of garlic granulates
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 oz of feta cheese, crumbled

                   

                    Directions/Instructions:

                    1 - Heat olive oil in a pan and start frying the onions and peppers

                    2 - After 5 minutes add in the diced tomatoes

                    3 - Season with honey, oregano, cumin, garlic, salt, and black pepper

                    4 - Cook for 3 minutes and crack in the eggs

                    5 -  Cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes on a medium heat

                    6 - Top with feta and parsley before serving
