Pappardelle in Saffron Cream

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Cook Time: 10 minutes

Servings: 1 serving 


  • 1 tsp of saffron
  • 2 tbsp of hot water
  • 4 oz of cooked pappardelle pasta
  • 1 oz of butter
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


      1 - Place saffron in a bowl and pour in hot water - let it sit for 5 minutes. 

      2 - In a hot pan, add butter and when it melts - pour in the saffron water.

      3 - Lower the heat and add in the cream.

      4 - Mix nicely and then toss in the pappardelle pasta.

      5 - Season with salt and black pepper. 

      6 - Cook for a minute, constantly stirring, and then serve.
