Berry Chia Smoothie

Chia, a little black seed whose name means “strength,” has been consumed since ancient Mayan and Aztec cultures as an energy booster. Filled with omega-3 fatty acids, protein, fiber, calcium and antioxidants, chia makes an excellent addition to any fruit or veggie smoothie.

We like pairing ours with berries, banana and Greek yogurt for a filling, fruity combo that even kids will love.

Berry Chia Smoothie

serves 1

½ cup raspberries

½ cup blueberries

1 banana

½ cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon organic chia seeds, black

½ teaspoon organic cinnamon

1 tsp organic vanilla extract

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
