Sumac Roasted Chicken w/ Braised Cabbage & Leeks

Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 7 chicken drumsticks (or chicken pieces of your choice)
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tsp of cumin ground
- 2 tsp of sumac
For the vegetables:
- 1 oz of butter
- 3 oz of leeks, sliced
- 3 oz of cabbage, sliced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp of garlic granulates
- ½ cup of vegetable broth
Directions/Instructions:
1 - Preheat oven to 375 F
2 - In a baking tray, add in chicken drumsticks and coat with oil
3 - Season with salt, black pepper, sumac, and cumin
4 - Roast chicken until cooked through, about 1 hour
5 - While the chicken is roasting, add butter to a hot pan and start cooking the leeks and cabbage
6 - Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic granulates
7 - Cook for 5 minutes, and then lower the heat
8 - Add in the vegetable broth and gently simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender
9 - Serve chicken with the vegetables
